HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The next stop on Congressman Bill Huizenga’s listening tour will be at Godwin Heights High School in Wyoming.
The town hall listening session will be held on Tuesday, April 11 in the school’s auditorium. The event is open to all residents of Michigan’s Second Congressional District. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the town hall is from 7-9 p.m.
Since January, Congressman Huizenga has held telephone town halls, Facebook town halls, and in person town halls.
“You know this is something I’ve been doing since I was in the State House. I helped Pete Hoekstra get prepared and do town hall meetings during the Bill Clinton impeachment. Having contentious robust is not something new to me. I embrace it.”
Signs will not be permitted in the auditorium. Those who would like to display signs are welcome to do so outside the high school prior to the event.
Congressman Huizenga’s first listening tour stop took place in Baldwin on February 25th and was attended by over 300 people. Congressman Huizenga’s second listening tour stop took place on March 6th in Grand Haven with over 1,000 people in attendance.
