HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC) – Three men who opposed an assistant Ottawa County Prosecutor in last month’s Primary Election for a soon-to-be-vacant Circuit Court Judge seat are apparently joining forces in an effort to thwart her efforts to replace the retiring Ed Post.
Karen Miedema secured her spot on the November 8th General Election ballot by garnering nearly 32 percent of the vote. Don Martin finished second with 23 percent, and on Wednesday, he gained the endorsement of Tom Siver, who was fourth with around 14 percent. Nine days ago, Chris Wirth joined the Martin bandwagon; he was third in the election with about 18 percent.
Robert Mol, the other judicial candidate on the August ballot, got 13 percent of the vote.
