GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – A 20-year-old Park Township man will spend at least three years in a state prison for his involvement in a late spring drive-by shooting on Holland’s North Side.
Gabriel Gutierrez had pleaded no contest to discharging a firearm at a building, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and felony firearm charges stemming from the incident at the Leisure Estates complex on June 7th. Prosecutors say that four persons inside of the unit at the time of the gunfire, including a three-month-old baby, were not injured in the incident that may have been gang-related.
Sentenced on Monday by Ottawa County Circuit Court Judge Jon Hulsing, Gutierrez could serve up to 10 years in prison on these charges.
