GRAND HAVEN TWP, MI (WHTC) – A three-vehicle crash during the afternoon commute sent a Grand Haven woman to the hospital.
Ottawa County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to US-31 and Comstock at around 5:41 p.m.Thursday evening, October 13 after Jasmine Robertson, 28, was southbound on US-31 and was not able to stop in time at the light. Sgt. Matt Wilfong says Robertson’s vehicle hit a 2016 Hyundai driven by John Lund, 50, of Grand Haven who was also stopped at the light.
As a result of being hit, Lund’s vehicle then hit a vehicle driven by Alan Phillips, 70, of Nunica who was directly in front of him.
Robertson who was cited for being unable to stop, was injured in the crash and transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Lund and Phillips were not injured in the crash.
