HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – There were no injuries reported in a Friday afternoon crash at a medical facility on Holland’s North Side, but there was “substantial damage.”
That’s the word from Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Brent Converse, who was among those who responded to the incident just before 3 PM at the InterCare Community Health Network Building off of James Street near Butternut Drive. A 70-year-old Holland Township woman, Elvira Liceaga, had pulled her vehicle into a parking lot and “couldn’t stop,” according to Converse, before colliding into the structure.
There were no injuries reported of the driver, who was buckled up, or of any occupants in the building at the time of the incident, which remains under investigation.
