CROCKERY TWP, MI (WHTC) – A two vehicle crash in Crockery Twp. Thursday evening, October 6, has sent seven to the hospital.
Sgt. Kristie Wendt of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to Westbound I-96 just West of Apple around 11:04 p.m. Jacob Hollemans, 22, of Grandville tried to pass a vehicle, hit a puddle in the middle of the road and hydroplaned hitting the driver’s area of a van driven by Daniel Justin, 27, of Muskegon.
The collision caused both vehicles to go off the side of the road and struck several trees. Justin and six of his passengers were transported to Hackley Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Hollemans was not injured in the crash.
Responding agencies were North Ottawa Hospital ambulance, Promed ambulance, Crockery Township Fire Rescue and Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
