HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A golf outing in June will benefit TRIO Upward Bound, an college program that supports and motivates students from disadvantaged backrounds in their pursuit of a college degree.
The Hope College TRIO Upward Bound Program is funded thru the U.S. Department of Education and United Way, helps over 790,000 low-income, first generation students and students with disabilities from sixth grade through college graduation. They offer counseling, mentoring, financial guidance, and other support services for students.
The golf outing will take place at Macatawa Legends Golf and Country Club on June 8, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. Entry fee is $100 and includes 18 holes of golf w/cart, driving range use before the round, prizes and lunch.
Registration will begin at 7 a.m.
