HOLLAND (WHTC) — WOOD and WZZM TV news crews are reporting a possible break in Jessica Heeringa disappearance in 2013, after a Muskegon Township man was arrested on suspicion of attempted kidnapping.
Muskegon County Sheriff Dean Roesler confirmed a man was was taken into custody today at a Muskegon Township home, as part of an investigation into an attempted kidnapping on April 16 in Muskegon.
The sheriff cautioned reporters that no direct link has been established to the Heeringa case, but the suspect owns a vehicle similar to the one described in Heeringa’s disappearance. She was last seen working alone overnight at a Norton Shores Exxon station on April 26, 2013.
