HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 32-year-old Jenison man is in critical condition after another driver crashed into his disabled vehicle just seconds after a previous crash he was in.
James Miller was involved in a two-vehicle crash at Chicago Drive and Port Sheldon Street in Georgetown Township at about 4:40 a.m. Thursday, June 30. The vehicles, which were both disabled, came to rest in the middle of the intersection after the traffic crash says Sgt. Bob Ruster with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
Just after the crash, another vehicle driven by Justin Montgomery, 35, of Wyoming crashed into the back of Miller’s vehicle. Miller had been either sitting in his disabled vehicle in the intersection and when was then ejected or standing near or next to his vehicle when the second crash occured.
Miller suffered a head injury and is listed in critical condition. The crash remains under investigation.
