HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A Grand Haven man was injured when an ATV overturned and landed on him.
Richard Brege, 33, was test driving a 2016 Quad in the parking lot of Sheldon Woods School in Port Sheldon Township with a 15-year-old backseat passenger. As he was was operating the ATV in reverse, he lost control and the ATV ejected both riders, then overturned and landed on top of Breges.
According to Sgt.Jay Douglas of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Brege who was not wearing a helmet, was treated at the scene by bystanders and then transported to Holland Community Hospital in good condition.
His 15-year-old passenger whose name is being withheld was not wearing a helmet and uninjured in the crash.
