HOLLAND (WHTC) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a report by three young Hudsonville girls that they were approached by a stranger.
The girls, ages 7, 8 and 9, were walking in the Presdential States mobile home park, according to police.
The girls told police the man left near the nature center, said Ottawa County Sheriff’s Capt. Mark Bennett.
The girls described the suspect at a white male, about 60 years old with thinning gray hair, brown eyes and a short, light-colored moustache. He was wearing a light-blue shirt with long sleeves, blue jeans or khaki pants, and shoes.
“After a short verbal exchange, the girls ran,” Bennett said. The girls told police they didn’t recognize the man or his car, which they described at a light blue smaller vehicle, with a dent in the driver’s side front quarter panel. The vehicle had tinted windows, according to Bennett.
