GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – Over the next 10 days, thousands will descend upon Grand Haven for the annual Coast Guard Festival July 29-August 7.
Not only do the ships arriving offer tours, but there are fireworks, concerts, midway carnival rides, car show, community picnic and craft fair.
New this year will be cardboard boat races held at Bicentennial Park on Saturday, July 30 at 2 p.m.
It will be a mild weekend for the start of the festival, but temperatures will reach the 90’s by midweek.
