HOLLAND (WHTC) — Holland Township resident Michelle Sharar got an ambulance ride to Holland Hospital after her car hit a Park Township tree Wednesday afternoon. She suffered non-life-threatending injuries, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brent Converse.
Police were called just before 1:30 p.m., after Sharar, 24, lost control on Riley Street, which Converse described as icy.
Her car crossed the center line, went into ditch, then smashed into the tree.
The crash happened near 152nd Avenue, the same location where a Tuesday evening traffic crash knocked out power to more than 2,000 Holland BPW customers. Sharar’s crash didn’t affect electric service to the area, according to Holland BPW’s outage map.
Converse said Sharar has been wearing a seatbelt and her vehicle’s airbags deployed. She went by AMR Ambulance to Holland Hospital for treatment, he said.
