Parking at the Holland Farmer’s Market won’t be affected with the new plans for Holland’s Civic Center, according to City Manager Ryan Cotton.
He told WHTC’s Mary Ellen Murphy that more than 120 people showed up for Tuesday’s open house with the city’s Civic Center Place Steering Committee. The Project for Public Spaces, a nationally known firm, made a presentation, he said, and offered an overview of how farmers markets evolve.
The final design plan is scheduled to be presented to Holland City Council in March. The next Civic Center Place Steering Committee study session is set for 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Holland City Hall’s second-floor training room.
