HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Firefighters were called to a downtown Holland residence after receiving a report that a garage was on fire.
On Friday at approximately 2:48 p.m., the Holland Department of Public Safety-Fire Division was dispatched to a garage located at 29 East 18th St. that was reportedly on fire. After 30 minutes, the fire was extinguished.
Heavy damage was sustained by the interior structure and the contents of the garage. No injuries were reported in the incident. The Department of Public Safety is investigating the cause of the fire, but it is not believed to be suspicious.
