A Sunday morning shooting injured a man in Holland Township according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brian Buter.
Police were called to the 3700 block of 136th Avenue in Holland Township on the report of a shooting just before 2 a.m. Sunday, he said.
Deputies found mostly uncooperative witnesses, Buter said , who were unsure if anyone had been injured, as several vehicles left the area before police arrived.
Investigators learned later that a man was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at an area hospital and released. The victim’s name and hospital where he was treated were not disclosed by police.
