GEORGETOWN TWP, MI (WHTC) – A Jenison man is in stable condition after a two-vehicle crash in Georgetown Twp. at Chicago Drive and Main Street.
Deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the intersection around 2:20 p.m. Sunday, December 4. Rachel VanZytveld, 20, of Grand Haven who was westbound in a GMC Yukon was putting information into her phone’s GPS and ran a red light.
Sgt. Buter says she struck a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Kenneth Howe, 36, of Jenison in a t-bone style fashion as he was southbound with the green light.
Howe was transported to Metro Hospital. VanZytveld was not injured in the crash and cited for disregarding a traffic control device.
