HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Brian Vander Ark is a Holland-born musician who has never forgotten his roots.
Lead singer and songwriter for The Verve Pipe and a solo career with four studio albums, he knows how much of a rollercoaster success can be. Vander Ark is also a speaker and has shared his story about the rise and fall of fame and will do so again in a free evening of conversation and music. He’ll share his story in a special and humble way with music and conversation.
“Surviving a Crash Landing:Stories of Resilience” will showcase Vander Ark’s music but more importantly is his personal story and how one can walk away stronger and emotionally sound when life takes a dramatic turn. It’s brought to you by Pathways of Michigan.
The event will be held at the Jenison Center for the Performing Arts located at 8375 20th Avenue in Georgetown Township. You’re invited to join the conversation about mental health, suicide prevention and building family strength on September 22 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Donations are accepted for adult tickets and adolescents are free with an adult purchase or donation. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and a crisis team will be available after 8:00 p.m.
