HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 45-year-old Dorr woman spent some time on Tuesday afternoon at Spectrum-Zeeland Communuity Hospital, courtesy of a two-vehicle crash just east of Holland.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Dean DeVries, Pamela Loew was driving eastbound on Adams Street and had stopped for a red light at 96th Avenue. When the light turned green, she started proceeding into the intersection but then, for some unexplained reason, she suddenly hit the brakes, causing the vehicle immediately behind her to collide into her vehicle. Loew was treated for minor injuries; the other driver, 35-year-old Eva-Lee Catt of Zeeland, was not hurt.
DeVries added that both drivers were buckled up as the crash remains under investigation.
