HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Police are looking for a man who struck a bicyclist and then fled the scene Sunday afternoon, August 22.
A 28-year-old Holland woman was riding her bicycle northbound on 120th Avenue when she stopped at the crosswalk at Felch Street in Holland Township. She had the walk signal when she crossed the street around 3:51 p.m. when she was struck. The woman whose name is being withheld, was struck and transported to Holland Hospital where she was treated and released.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. J. Douglas says the unknown male is between the ages of 50-60 and driving a white SUV and fled southbound from the scene.
