WEST OLIVE, MI (WHTC) – There’s word of some federal funding for the Great Lakes Ag-Tech Business Incubator.
The US Department of Agriculture last month signed a 55 thousand-dollar grant agreement to provide the startup mechanism with some money needed to enhance marketing, outreach and training efforts. Now in its second full year of existence, the incubator, based in Ottawa County and currently extending to Barry County, aims to help those with an idea or invention in agricultural technology get their concepts into reality and into the marketplace.
The funds come from the USDA’s Rural Business Development Grant Program.
