ZEELAND TOWNSHIP, MI (WHTC) – A Hudsonville man was involved in a rollover crash last night in Zeeland Township. At approximately 11 PM last night, 49-year-old Robert Zolen was heading west on I-196 near the mile 55 marker when he lost control of his 2001 Chevy Silverado.
The vehicle hit the highway median and rolled a few times before coming to a stop. Zolen told Ottawa County Deputies that he tried to avoid hitting a deer, which caused the accident. Alcohol was proved to be not a factor in the investigation. Zolen suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Metro Hospital, where he is listed in good condition.
