HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The 15th Annual Tulipanes Latino Art and Film festival is in full swing in the Holland area, with a full line-up of award winning films coming to the Holland Civic Theatre and other venues for viewing.
The festival began on Aug. 20 with an opening gala at Macatawa Bank. Since then, the festival has featured musical performances, art exhibitions, and film showings at venues throughout Holland. Today, you can enjoy the South American historical drama El Libertador at The Holland Civic Center, starting at 7:30 PM.
Also this week, The Herrick District Library is showing two short films this Saturday, Sept. 12: One called Midfield, and the other called Meio-Campo. All the films featured in the Tulipanes Latino Art and Film Festival are free to attend. For more information on the films and venues involved in this festival, go to www.tulipanes.org.
