HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Sirens will sound throughout Ottawa County today as part of the Ottawa County emergency procedure tests.
Emergency Management will coordinate the test this month by activating sirens in certain areas at different times throughout the county, instead of sounding the sirens all at the same time as was done in the past.
The siren testing should begin at noon on today and each siren will sound for approximately 1 to 3 minutes. In addition to emergency sirens, The Ottawa County Emergency Operations Center will test the WCET Cable Ticker System in Hudsonville.
