GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – Muskegon Community College officials say that no explosive device was found in any of its facilities after a bomb threat was discovered this morning at the Grand Haven Community Center/Louit District Library location where the college has classes. All students and staffers at campuses in Muskegon, Ottawa and Newaygo counties were evacuated as safety protocols were enacted, and law enforcement officers conducted thorough searches without uncovering any harmful objects. The all-clear was sent out early this afternoon as the Community Center and the library reopened, and classes will resume tomorrow as scheduled. No suspects were immediately identified and/or apprehended as the investigation into the matter continues.
