CASCADE TWP, MI (WHTC) – The Gerald R. Ford International Airport is adding seats to prepare for more air travel expected this summer.
The number of passengers flying around the country is expected to hit an all-time high from June to August. Ford says it will be adding extra seats by flying bigger planes in and out of the airport, including Chicago and Denver.
The airport says last year it had more than two-million passengers flying out of Ford, the highest number in its history.
