HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce welcomes Entrepreneur Magazine’s 2014 Entrepreneur of the Year recipient Dan Price to their “Lessons in Leadership” luncheon today.
Price started Gravity Payments at just 19-years old after witnessing too many business owners in his community being overcharged and under-served by their credit card processors. Today over 12,000 community businesses worldwide trust his company to save them millions in fees and hours making it easier for them to make payments.
He slashed his own CEO pay and raised salaries for his employees to a minimum of $70,000. He is the nephew of state representative Amanda Price. The company is located in Seattle, Washington.
The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. today at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center at 650 East 24th Street in Holland.
