JENISON, MI (WHTC) – A 14-year-old boy was injured in a hit-and-run incident in GeorgetownTownship.
The 14-year-old boy from Jenison, whose name is not being released, was injured according to Ottawa County Sgt. J. Douglas.
The boy was attemping to cross Bluebird street eastbound, when he was struck by a vehicle that was Southbound on Bluebird turning west onto Baldwin Street. After striking the pedestrian, the vehicle fled on Bluebird street.
The suspect is described as a male in this early 20’s with a shaved head and multiple piercings. The vehicle the fled is described as wither a Volkswagon Passat or Jetta.
The boy was transported to Devos Children’s Hospital where he remains in stable condition.
