HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – No injuries were reported as a SUV caught fire in a fast food restaurant’s parking lot on Holland’s North Side. The Friday afternoon blaze slowed traffic in the vicinity of James Street and US-31, with some observers saying that flames rose about a dozen feet into the air before Holland Township crews brought the fire under control. There was nobody inside of the vehicle at the time, no other parked vehicles were damaged as a result, and investigators didn’t immediately determine a cause of the blaze.
