HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The new observation deck installed at the Holland Energy Park construction last week will be the location of nearly daily shipments for the future power plant.
Now that the initial electrical wiring and water pipes have been installed, construction can be moved skywards as major components ship in from across the globe. Visitors will be able to see the new pieces arrive, including two steam generators from Korea and a steam turbine from Belgium due to arrive in August.
Today, visitors can watch construction workers as they pour 530 yards of concrete at the East Seventh Street location until noon.
The building shell for the Holland Energy Park is expected to be complete by the end of the year to allow crew to work during the winter.
