UNDATED (WHTC) – Two separate Friday afternoon accidents in Ottawa County involving five vehicles injured three of the five drivers involved.
The first occurred around 1:30 PM on Holland’s North Side, when 50-year-old Bryan Knoll of Holland had stopped on northbound US-31 at the crossover near James Street and was rearended by 45-year-old Aaron Hartman of Allegan. Knoll was treated at Holland Hospital for minor injuries; Hartman was unhurt.
The second came around 2:45 PM north of Allendale, when 31-year-old Noah Stevens of Pierson, near Flint, drove through a red light on Warner Street at 68th Avenue and collided with 22-year-old Cory Pearo of Muskegon, who then careened into 81-year-old Dorothy Vanenberg of Allendale, waiting to turn left. Stevens suffered serious injuries, while Pearo had minor ailments and Vanenberg was not hurt.
Both crashes remain under investigation.
