HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Holland Public Schools are looking for a new director for the Holland High Marching Dutchman Band.
James Hughes, who has been the director of bands at the high school for the past two years, has resigned to pursue a non-educational opportunity in the Chicago area according to district Human Resources director Rich Zuker.
Hughes, a 2004 Holland graduate played trumpet in the high school band under previous director Charles Bullard.
Zuker says the district is interviewing candidates to fill the band director opening.
