BATTLE CREEK, MI (WHTC) – The Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek has just announced the edition of three new cheetah triplets to their roster of animals. The cheetah sisters are named Katie, Madison, and Mohini and are 18 months old. They travelled from the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC and their new home will be in the Wild Africa exhibit of Binder Park Zoo.
Endangered species conservation is one of the top priorities for the zoo and they work with such organizations as The Cheetah Conservation Fund in Africa and Action for Cheetahs to help share and support field research and programs for the animals. Binder Park Zoo sits on 433 acres of natural forests and wetlands just outside of Battle Creek.
