HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies were responded to a report of an armed robbery at PNC Bank at 12353 James Street in Holland this morning at 6:30 a.m.
The victim a 57-year-old Van Buren County resident was at the ATM machine when the armed man, a black male in his 20’s opened the passenger door and produced a handgun while demanding money. The suspect was able to obtain a small amount of cash and fled westbound on foot from the bank
According to Sgt. Bob Ruster with the Ottawa County Sheriffs Office, the suspect is described as black male with a thin build, approximately five foot to six foot tall wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
No injuries were reported and the victim was seen fleeing on foot. A canine track was obtained approximately 200 yards NW to a parking lot area west of U.S. 31 where the tracks stopped.
