OTTAWA COUNTY, MI (WHTC) -- The stabbing suspect in an incident that happened on August 12th is still in the Ottawa County Jail. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, 27-year-old Thad Bliss will undergo a psychiatric evaluation. Police say that Bliss stabbed a 29-year-old male acquaintance in the neck with a kitchen knife after a disagreement. The victim, who has not been named, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at Holland Hospital. No date has been set for the psychiatric exam. Bliss is being held on $15-thousand bond and faces up to 10 years in prison on the felony charge of assault with intent to commit great bodily harm.
