UNDATED (WHTC) - The holiday weekend respite for motorists in Michigan ends today, as road construction projects that were suspended for Labor Day resume. This did not include the long-term work along I-196 south of Holland and M-45 in Robinson Township, where restoring regular traffic flows was not possible. New barricades go up today for northbound M-40 travelers looking to enter eastbound I-196 in Holland, and for Ottawa Beach Road at 144th Avenue in Park Township due to road rebuilding efforts. Most projects should be completed by the end of October.
