HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The highest gas prices east of the Mississippi right now are along the Lakeshore.
This morning’s weekly survey of Holland-area stations showed a per-gallon average of $3.95, thanks to a 30-cent spike yesterday. The mark is 11 cents higher than last Friday and is 36 cents more than what fuel was going for as this month began. However, gas a year ago was also going for $3.95 a gallon. Triple-A’s daily polling had marks of $3.66 nationally, up a penny from last week, and $3.85 statewide, an increase of six cents in seven days.
