DETROIT (WKZO) -- A new poll shows both Governor Rick Snyder and Democratic nominee Gary Peters lead in their respective races.
The poll, conducted by the "Detroit News" and WDIV-TV, shows Snyder holds a nearly ten-percent lead over Democratic challenger Mark Schauer, while Peters has a slim lead over Republican Terri Lynn Land in the race for U.S. Senate. Land and Peters are battling to fill the seat of retiring Democratic U.S. Senator Carl Levin.
The poll shows that Snyder leads Schauer 45-percent to 35-percent, with roughly 18-percent of voters undecided.
