UNDATED (WHTC) - It's a meeting Tuesday along the Lakeshore.
At the Ottawa County Fillmore Street Administration Building, board members hold an afternoon session, and among the items on their agenda is a request to approve a total millage rate of over 4.3 mills for government operations, including 911 service and parks. Planning commissioners huddle this evening, and they are asked to consider amendments to the county’s Non-Motorized Pathways Map.
Pushed back a day due to the Memorial Day holiday, the Saugatuck City Council meets this evening to go over a number of items. Tower Marine owner RJ Peterson is slated to give a Harbor Update, as the Kalamazoo Lake Harbor Authority is asking for financial help to pay for needed dredging. Peterson has run up against opposition to his independent efforts on this matter, most notably over where to put the dredged silt.
