UNDATED (WHTC) -- The draft of a non-motorized plan created by the Macatawa Are Coordinating Council is available for public comment through next Monday, June 2nd. Some goals of the plan include providing residents with different options for travel, making bike paths, sidewalks and roads safer for everyone and connect and become part of existing travel routes. In 2010, the MACC gave its support to the U.S. Bicycle Route 35 project. Existing pathways through the Holland area would be incorporated into the route. A public hearing on the plan is scheduled for noon on Monday, June 9th at the Holland Township fire station on Riley St.
