UNDATED (WHTC) -- A two-vehicle accident in Blendon Township sent four people to the hospital Saturday morning.  The accident occurred at the intersection of 56th Ave. and Bauer St. around 10 A.M.  Sgt. John Wolffis reports that 75-year-old Antonio Rios-Garcia was headed northbound on 56th Ave. and failed to stop at the stop sign.  The other vehicle in the accident driven by 38-year-old Eric Drake, was westbound on Bauer St. and Rios-Garcia car on the passenger side door.  Front seat passengers in both vehicles, 73-year-old Candida Rios-Garcia and 29-year-old Ashley Drake were also injured in the crash.

Both vehicles moved across the intersection, taking down a power pole and causing an electricity outage.  The intersection was closed for several hours while Consumers Energy repair crews restored electricity to the neighborhood.
