UNDATED (WHTC) -- Another Ottawa County community may be going to the birds. At the moment, Georgetown Township prohibits backyard chickens in residential areas but some residents are hoping to change that. The City of Holland approved an amendment to the Pet Fowl and Backyard Chicken Ordinance with some adjustments in early April. The Jamestown Township Board tabled a first reading of an animal ordinance earlier this week, asking the Planning Commission to refine the wording.
