HOOLAND, MI (WHTC) --An innovative program that began in Holland last year continues this year. The Youth Connections Program, in partnership with Escape Ministries, works with at-risk youths between 14 and 17 years of age. Last year, the program had enough funding to put twelve teens to work. An anonymous donor gave $35-thousand to this year’s program and there have been other monetary gifts from organizations and individuals. The Third Reformed Church gave $1000, Holland Public Schools donated $10,000 and two individuals gave $2000 apiece. If you’re interested in helping the program or for more information, contact the City Manager’s office at 355-1310 for more information.
