UNDATED (WHTC) --Monday is a day for Americans to remember those who gave their lives defending our freedom. With the intent of helping those who made it back with invisible injuries, the Allegan County 57th District Court has created a special court for veterans. Judge William Baillargeon says some end up in the criminal justice system because of what he call "invisible injuries." The goal is to address the injury, treat it and return that person's dignity and productivity that prompted them to serve theri country in the first place. Efforts are ongoing to create a veteran’s court in Ottawa County.
