HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The City of Holland keeps moving forward with the latest step in the Community Energy Plan. The Home Energy Retrofit 50-house pilot program is ready to be launched. The program’s goal is to determine the effectiveness of energy saving measures when applied to local housing. The program is open to all single-family residential homeowners within the city limits. A team of certified energy auditors will conduct a thorough on-site evaluation, producing a cost-effective plan to improve energy efficiency. An interactive open community meeting takes place at City Hall on Thursday, May 29th from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. You can call the City Manager’s office for more information at 355-1310.
