LANSING (WKZO) -- Michigan's unemployment rate is a touch lower. According to the state Department of Technology, Management & Budget, the rate in April fell from March by one-tenth of a percent to 7.4-percent. Total employment rose by 14-thousand, while the number of jobless Michiganders fell by three-thousand. The rate is four-tenths of a percent lower than a year ago.
