UNDATED (WHTC) - Voters were in a passing mood throughout the Lakeshore in a limited Election Day slate yesterday. School bond issues in West Ottawa, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, South Haven and Caledonia were all approved by margins of between 59 to 69 percent, while renewing the 18-mill non-homestead annual tax cleared by at least 70 percent in the Holland, West Ottawa, Hudsonville, Grand Haven, Otsego, Plainwell and Thornapple-Kellogg districts. With not all communities holding elections, and with no candidates on any ballots, voter turnout was predictably light at 12 percent.
