UNDATED (WHTC) - Max Scherzer scattered three hits and struck out nine over eight innings as the Tigers blanked visiting Houston last night, 2-0. The series against the Astros at Comerica Park in Detroit continues this evening. Hear all of the action on 1450 WHTC, beginning at 6:40 PM.

A double by Marcus Semien in the top of the 12th inning plated the go-ahead run, as the White Sox outlasted the Cubs at Wrigley Field last night, 3-1. The series on the North Side of Chicago concludes this evening.

In the longest game in Whitecaps’ team history, Raph Rhymes walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 18th inning to give West Michigan a 4-3 victory over visiting Lake County. The series against the Captains at Fifth Third Ballpark continues this evening.
