ST. CLAIR SHORES (WKZO) -- A Macomb County judge granted more time for the competency examination of a woman accused of killing her son.
A hearing in the case of 60-year-old Donna Scrivo to determine if she was competent to stand trial was scheduled for Tuesday morning. However, a judge agreed with a defense motion to give them more time for an independent evaluation.
Scrivo is accused of killing and dismembering her 32-year-old son Ramsay Scrivo in February in St. Clair Shores. His remains were found in five different bags in China Township in St. Clair County.
