HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - If the weather outside isn't conducive to seeing the tulips in Holland, it doesn't mean that the Tulip Time Festival shuts down.
On a grey and damp Monday, the Holland Area Arts Council building on 8th Street was filled with local guests and out-of-state visitors as the festival's annual Quilt Show began. A number of creations were on display, along with a couple of quilters in vintage Dutch costume to talk and show how quilts in the Netherlands were produced. A number of classic sewing machines used to put the quilts together were also seen.
Arts Council Executive Director Lorma Freestone conducted this brief tour of the display.
